Domestic assault reported with children present

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were dispatched for a reported domestic violence/domestic assault incident near Dogwood Dr (off Bennington Dr/Mark Twain Cir). The reporting party was with children and was initially unable to take a voice call. A male suspect was reported on scene. Units attempted to have the reporting party step outside away from the suspect; radio traffic notes the party was not armed but had a carry permit, and later that the reporting party may have a firearm on them but not in their hands.
