Transcript:
Medcom, helicopter Pegasus, good to give a patient report to the PCD whenever you have a champ. I understand. Stay by. This is Dr. Woods. Go ahead. Good afternoon, this is helicopter Pegasus. Inbound to your facility with about a 10-minute ETA to the rooftop. 12 minutes to the floor with a 12-year-old male who was struck in the side while playing football. He fell, twisted over, and was kicked in the back while he was dropping. Immediately after the fall, he was assessed by EMS and he was found to have crepitus in his mid and lower back. Currently, vital signs are GCS of 15. He has a heart rate of 88, an SPO2 of 99% on room air. He has a blood pressure of 124 over 70, and he is breathing about 22 times a minute. A patient was initially complaining of left leg numbness and loss of motor function. However, on our assessment, he is currently both moving his leg and reacting to that leg. Again, we should be there in about 10 minutes. Do you require anything further? Mr. Wood, you didn't notice any of that crepe on us or anything, did you? We did not move him to assess him. This is based on the assessment provided by the EMSC. Say restorations are easy and unlabored right now. Correct.
