Apartment building fire brought under control

Fire crews respond to an apartment building fire in Bradenton. Some apartments are locked and need to be opened with a door code so they can be searched. Power to the area is secured, and a second division is set up to manage part of the building. Crews ventilate the structure, check for any remaining fire, and uncover some hidden fire while overhauling the scene. In a separate call, firefighters respond to a reported brush fire caused by underground flames where construction work is taking place, and one person is burned and taken to the hospital by private vehicle. The apartment fire is eventually declared under control and fully out around 1:52 p.m.
