(name withheld) R.N. The time is 12 o'clock. (name withheld), this is (name withheld) on Arcaded 2. On board, I have a 32-year-old male patient. He was swinging on a rope swing in the Arcaded Community Forest when the rope swing snapped, causing him to fall about 10 feet, landing on a horizontal log suspended above the ground. After which, he rolled off that log an additional 5 feet. The patient's chief complaint is lower thoracic spinal pain. CSM is intact at the distal extremity. He was backboarded by the time that we got there and we have him in full spinal precautions based on mechanism alone. CSM is intact times four. He is conscious, alert, and oriented times four, does not take blood thinner. Blood pressure is 150 over 100. Heart rate is currently 58. I've got an IV established and the GCS is 15. I will work on additional IV access and we have an easy view of eight minutes at this point. No head injury or loss of consciousness. We are going to room 20 on arrival.
