All units responding to the upgraded hospital residence structure fire 22,511 East County Road at 14754. Initially, the caller advised the smell of smoke. There is one subject with dementia who is refusing to leave and has blocked themselves in the bathroom. Everybody is out of the building, but one of the subjects is trying to fight their way back inside. Engine 42 arriving on scene, single story structure. No smoke showing at this time, going into investigate. Command established. At this time, we have no fire, strong smells, electrical, for investigating.
